Farmer Falgu and his daughter Eila are going to the annual Kite flying festival but the wind plays spoilsport and they lose their kites. A bunch of interesting characters and wonderful setting, stunning art and beautiful typography will keep you engrossed.
This is the third book and previous book in the series- Farmer Falgu goes to the market is a hot favourite and this one is great too. The end note has some information on the kite flying ritual in different parts of India and can serve as valuable extended reading.
This is a cute story of a father who tries to make sure that his little princess doesn’t get disappointed. Lots to love here.
